NEW YORK, June 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lexington Realty Trust ("Lexington") (NYSE:LXP), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced today that it financed the Transamerica Tower in Baltimore, Maryland, together with the adjacent parking garage, with a $55.0 million secured mortgage loan. The loan bears interest at a fixed rate of 4.32% and matures in 2023. The Transamerica Tower contains approximately 476,000 rentable square feet, 95% of which is leased as of the date of this press release.
